The end of 2012 was hectic. And fruitful. Working with Smuggler UK, we got a hat-trick of wins: McDonalds, Virgin Media and Birds Eye. Watch Virgin Media I also helped Smuggler to helm Sainsbury's Christmas campaign.

Autumnal treatment writing: worked on a treatment for an atmospheric Nivea film (Bandits Production), went back to school with Smuggler UK for a nostalgic Birds Eye treatment and did some lion-taming with Rattling Stick in 2 film treatments for Crown Royal Whisky.

Digital copywriting: with Frankfurt Book Fair approaching, I helped promote Corbis Images to their book publishing clients. Also covered Autumn Fashion Week across the world as well as the prelude to the U.S Presidential election. Continuing to write their facebook and twitter pages, finding the latest stories about photography and design.

This month included a treatment for IKEA and another for Sainsbury's Christmas campaign with Smuggler.

For Corbis I worked on an interactive experience, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the iconic "lunch in the sky" photograph and looking into high times of the 1930's. Visit the experience.

It's hugely rewarding to know that a treatment you worked on has won the pitch. Even better when you see the completed film. Missing Euro 2012 already, Will wrote TV scripts and facebook ads for SkyBet featuring footie pundits Matt le Tissier and Phil "Tommo" Thompson. Recently he has completed treatments for Smuggler (Milka chocolate) and Bandits Production (Dove Colour Care). Meanwhile at Corbis it's been all about the Olympics, Formula 1 and those beautiful A-list celebrities in the ScreenStars movie calendar.

"What is your reality?" was the brief for the latest Corbis project Real Time, looking at our lives from the normal to the very odd. Will also completed commercial film treatments for both Smuggler UK (Lactalis Seriously Strong Cheddar) and Smuggler USA (Target).

Will helped create the Corbis ScreenStars movie calendar and Veer Creative Catalyst competition, where designs win money for good causes and Euro-wide publicity for their creators. He also wrote film treatments for Bandits Production (L'Oreal Garnier Fructis) and Smuggler (BUPA-WCRS).

As well as working on new promotions for Corbis and Veer, Will has been writing film treatments for Bandits Production (Ferrero Rocher-Euro RSCG), Black Jack Films (Freeview-Leo Burnett) and Blink Productions (British Airways and Land Rover). He also created the Action Stations radio advertising campaign for RadioCentre, the UK industry body for commercial radio.

Will is Chief EMEA copywriter for Corbis and Veer, working on web copy, e-publications, print pieces, exhibitions and runs their social media (facebook, twitter). He continues freelance SEO work for TalkTalk, and writes treatments for Outsider (Frontline, California Lottery, Liberty/Tic Tac) and Bandits Production (Garnier Singapore, Rexona/Sure India). He has also created radio advertising campaigns for Eldon Square and Black Horse Finance on behalf of Sonoptics Productions.

Will has been working as a digital content writer for the official Rolling Stones site, rollingstones.com. He has written tv ad campaign treatments for Blink Productions. Will also created corporate film concepts and scripts for production company,The Bank Film Co. Clients include CRS Yachts Insurance and Heesen superyachts.

Will wrote and directed the DEC campaign following the devastating earthquake in Haiti. Recorded at Global Radio, it was voiced by the legendary John Hurt. Will continues as copywriter for Inspired Audio, creating radio ads for Aston Barclay, Gym Company, Bower Mapson Homes, Elixir Aesthetics, Carewatch and Capel Manor College. In October Will created advertisements for the DEC appeal raising money for Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam. Later in the year he helped write a campaign on behalf of the Cumbria Community Foundation, following the floods in the region. Throughout this time he established a relationship with Inspired Audio, and has worked on campaigns for Southend Council, Gym Company, ABC Motorcycles and Eco Creations amongst others. He assisted the COI with their campaign for the Office of Fair Trading, warning about the dangers of doorstep traders. As the year ends, he is collaborating with Radio Works on a "hush hush" project and looking forward to exciting challenges in 2010…

June '09

2009 has seen Will complete work for lingerie boutique Know Knockers, Hiscox Insurance and Pretaportabello.com, finalist at this year's Grazia 02 X Awards. He wrote and directed a campaign for Chanel, promoting their Ultra Correction anti-ageing range. The Daily Mirror also commissioned him to write a review of the eardrum-busting Sonisphere festival held at Knebworth House.
