Will wrote the national radio campaign for the DEC Pakistan Floods appeal, voiced by Jason Isaacs. Donations can be made at dec.org.uk. He has also been writing treatments for production company Outsider, including a TV ad campaign for Saturn (Comet) Electronics in Germany fronted by Alice Cooper.

Will has been working as a digital content writer for the official Rolling Stones site, rollingstones.com. He has written tv ad campaign treatments for Blink Productions. Will also created corporate film concepts and scripts for production company,The Bank Film Co. Clients include CRS Yachts Insurance and Heesen superyachts.

Apr '10

Will wrote and directed the DEC campaign following the devastating earthquake in Haiti. Recorded at Global Radio, it was voiced by the legendary John Hurt. Will continues as copywriter for Inspired Audio, creating radio ads for Aston Barclay, Gym Company, Bower Mapson Homes, Elixir Aesthetics, Carewatch and Capel Manor College. Oct '09

In October Will created advertisements for the DEC appeal raising money for Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam. Later in the year he helped write a campaign on behalf of the Cumbria Community Foundation, following the floods in the region. Throughout this time he established a relationship with Inspired Audio, and has worked on campaigns for Southend Council, Gym Company, ABC Motorcycles and Eco Creations amongst others. He assisted the COI with their campaign for the Office of Fair Trading, warning about the dangers of doorstep traders. As the year ends, he is collaborating with Radio Works on a "hush hush" project and looking forward to exciting challenges in 2010…

June '09

2009 has seen Will complete work for lingerie boutique Know Knockers, Hiscox Insurance and Pretaportabello.com, finalist at this year's Grazia 02 X Awards. He wrote and directed a campaign for Chanel, promoting their Ultra Correction anti-ageing range. The Daily Mirror also commissioned him to write a review of the eardrum-busting Sonisphere festival held at Knebworth House.

 

BIO

Will Stubbs

started his radio career as one of the original members of the RACC when it was formed in 1996 to take over clearance of UK radio advertising. Whilst there he has written articles for the publication Update read by all Commercial Radio stations, creative houses and advertising agencies; and has given presentations to agencies, stations and spoken at the industry-renowned Vox conference.

In 2006 Will began writing radio campaigns, and his clients have included Somethin' Else, Radio Works, BJK&E, Ubisoft and the Disasters and Emergency Committee. At RadioCentre he works as a creative consultant to the Radio Advertising Bureau, most recently contributing to the successful 'Next Thing Now' event held in 2008 at Universal McCann. He is the main speech writer for the Arqiva Commercial Radio Awards, providing material for Christian O'Connell (Absolute Radio) and Simon Bates (Classic FM).

Will also works as a counsellor in private practice and plays drums for a hard rock band.
